Living Savior Preschool provides premier quality in early childhood education in our region. We hold a GS-110 License with the state of North Carolina. This means that we are held to a higher standard than some other preschools in our area who are not licensed with the state. We receive annual inspections from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services--Child Development and Early Education. Additionally, we receive two inspections per year from the Health and Sanitation Department. With the support of our church family, we are able to meet high standards in serving our community with the highest quality.
Living Savior Preschool exists to provide a safe and caring Christian environment for your child. We are here to assist you in the training of your child during these essential, formative years of growth and development. We believe each child is a unique gift from God. We consider it both an honor and a privilege to work with parents in meeting the needs of each child.
At Living Savior Preschool, we encourage children to explore the world around them and enjoy the journey of learning. Jesus is the very heart and center of who we are and what we do. Our prayer is that each child will grow in their knowledge of him, his world, and his deep love for them!

Our curriculum will provide each child with age appropriate activities and experiences that will contribute to the development of the whole child: spiritually, emotionally, socially, academically, and physically.
Our curriculum allows children to develop at their own rate, explore the world around them, enjoy the journey of learning, and know and love their BEST friend, Jesus!
Our preschool classroom is divided into centers. Throughout the year our monthly themes and religious focus is integrated into these areas.
Through the variety these centers provide, children grow in all areas of development.

Living Savior Preschool is staffed by a caring and professional group of teachers and aides.
We have a low student to staff ratio, which means that your child will get all the personal attention he or she needs to succeed.
Our teachers and classroom aides are certified in CPR and First Aid. They have been finger printed and background checked. Our staff continues to take classes and training workshops on safety and the study of early childhood education. They model Christian morals, values, and ethics in their interaction with the children. They have either education degrees or work experience with children.
Mrs. Eva KraussMrs. Eva Krauss has been the director and lead teacher of Living Savior Preschool since its inception in 2007. Her energy to teach, eagerness to nurture children, and experience of more than 20 years in the classroom are a blessing to our ministry and the families we serve.
Eva and her husband have two children. In addition to serving as director and lead teacher, she plays piano and organ for worship, and enjoys baking/cooking, working out, reading, and getting together with friends.

Living Savior Preschool serves children ages 3, 4, and 5.
All children must be completely toilet trained by the 1st day of school.
We aim to accommodate families and the needs of the children we serve by providing options. The schedule and tuition rates for the 2024-2025 school year are as follows:
These hours and options apply to all ages: 3, 4, & 5 year olds
| 4 Days / 4.5 hrs | (Mon - Thur) | 8:00am - 12:30pm | $390/month |
| 5 Days / 4.5 hrs | (Mon - Fri) | 8:00am - 12:30pm | $450/month |
| 5 Days / 6 hrs | (Mon - Fri) | 8:00am - 2:00pm | $500/month |
A $145 non-refundable Registration Fee is due when you register your child.

Our youngest son attended Living Savior Preschool for two years. We placed him there because our older kids were in school and LSP has extended hours compared to other church-based preschool programs in the area. While the hours are great, there are so many wonderful things about this program-- our family has been blessed to be part of the LSP family. This is the most amazing preschool program! I cannot say enough good things about Mrs. Krauss, the other teachers and the nurturing environment they have created at LSP. This preschool was everything we were looking for when we originally moved to Asheville. It was small enough for our kiddo to not feel overwhelmed by the class size, great location and the option of hours was just perfect for us. All the teachers are so warm and nurturing, and put so much love into what they do. After some research, Living Savior Preschool was the choice for our child and we could not be happier with that decision. I cannot say enough about this preschool. We came from another preschool in the area and Living Savior surpassed all of our expectations. Living Savior Preschool has been such a blessing to our family. Our son has been with Mrs. Krauss for almost two years, and our daughter was so excited to finally start this past year. Most mornings, our two-year-old daughter looks forward to sitting on the floor with Pastor Kurbis while he reads her a story so that I can get the older two into class. The joy that my children have experienced at Living Savior Preschool is a reflection of the love that Mrs. Krauss and staff have for them.
