Living Savior Ministry Resources Amid COVID-19
These times are not only difficult, they are unique. We are walking through uncharted territory when we are compelled to function apart instead of gathering together. That is why Living Savior wants to do all we can to help you continue to worship the Lord, grow in his Word, connect to one another (including those in need), and keep up with the latest information.
If you have any suggestions as to how we can do any of these things better, or if there is anything that we can do for you or someone you love, please let us know. We would be happy to help.
Growing in the Word can happen anywhere. As we adapt from our normal schedule, we are holding Sunday morning Bible study on Facebook Live. (You may “like” and follow Living Savior’s Facebook page for the latest information.) We will then curate all of our online Bible studies to our YouTube channel. We will also be providing Sunday school materials for all of our children and for anyone else who expresses an interest.
In addition, several private classes will be going on. For example, each of the pastors will soon be starting Foundations via Zoom. Foundations is for everyone: for people interested in becoming members, for those looking to build up their faith, and for the curious observer who wants to study the Bible without feeling obligated to join a church. Please let us know if you would like to give this a try.
Serving others can be a challenge when we have to practice “social distancing.” Even so, you may know of a way that we can serve someone. Perhaps you might be willing to help in some way yourself. You may even have a need with which someone from Living Savior can provide assistance.
What might this look like? Some current ideas include grocery shopping, walking a pet, running errands, and providing for the homeless.
If you would prefer to talk over the phone about a service opportunity, or if you or someone you know simply needs a friend to talk to, please feel free to reach out to our pastors at any time.
