Death is the great “robber” of all that we hold dear, leaving us with broken hopes, shattered lives, and missing dreams. So it was with the disciples and the women that first Easter dawn, until they discovered the new reality where the stone had been rolled away. Jesus Christ rose from the grave, just as he said. In that empty tomb we find a new reality that can never be broken: hope restored, eternal life, and salvation. Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Alleluia!
