After serving as a pastor in MN, SD, GA and then teaching at our Seminary in WI for 15 years, it's a privilege to be back in the South. But why? We are here to share the grace of God in Jesus Christ.
You see, when you come to know the Holy Scriptures, you find that God’s grace is not only “amazing,” like the song says; it’s also powerful and practical. God’s grace is a comfort in times of stress. It gives rest to those who are weary. It brings God’s everlasting mercy even to the “chief of sinners” (1 Timothy 1:12-17) and an “overflowing hope” to anyone who trusts in him (Romans 15:13).

More about John Stelter
The first word that describes me is technically two words. As the father of five girls, I definitely know what other guys mean when they say “I’m a girl dad.” My wife Barb and I have been blessed beyond belief by the daughters God has given us.
Being raised on a dairy farm in Wisconsin has given me an appreciation for the outdoors. I enjoy running, hiking, hunting and getting out into nature whenever I can. While I appreciate the peace and quiet that comes with pursuing these activities alone, I also enjoy being with other people.
Others have described me as “outgoing” and on most days that description fits. I love learning about different places and different people. I enjoy conversations on many topics, from the silly to the serious. As a pastor I have been blessed to form relationships with people from different walks of life in Missouri, Wisconsin and now North Carolina! As a pastor I am called to regularly speak about the only topic that matters. Forgiveness of sins in Jesus’ name.
Jesus’ death on the cross cleanses me from my sin and allows me to live freely and minister joyfully to my fellow, forgiven sinners. I would love to get to know you and speak some more about forgiveness in Christ and the free gift of eternal life!

Mrs. Eva Krauss has been the director and lead teacher of Living Savior Preschool since its inception in 2007. Her energy to teach, eagerness to nurture children, and experience of more than 20 years in the classroom are a blessing to our ministry and the families we serve.
Eva and her husband have two children. In addition to serving as director and lead teacher, she plays piano and organ for worship, and enjoys baking/cooking, working out, reading, and getting together with friends.
